April 14th, 2013. Blind & Curtains, Window Patterns In Grid.
Windows patterns are varied out there, but right now the grid pattern trend is emerging. Originated from Japan of Asia’s traditional houses that usually use grid pattern for their their sliding doors, the West finally picked up that trend and started to apply the grid patterns in their own houses too. Now, grids are nothing unusual in the West.
Grid window patterns are not in one style only, as there are many variety of them out there. The most common one, of course, is the pattern where there are three squares lined up in three rows, creating and orderly ambiance from the structure of the grid. The second type of grid pattern is for rectangular windows, where half of the window is in grid while the other half is bare. Of course, grid does not have to be in squares only, because some of them are in rectangular shapes also.
Grid is not for window patterns only, because grid has been used many times in doors also, especially for sliding doors. However, grid for doors are usually larger in size, so the square patterns for the doors are usually larger or rectangular. Also, because of their size as the factor, doors can have more than nine squares for their grids. However, make sure that the squares of the grids are not too many because they will just hurt the eyes instead There is a solution for this kind of pattern, of course. Doors have the unique grid pattern where only one line is there on the door, diving the door into two squares. The squares can also be vertical or horizontal, because either way does not matter.
As it can be seen, there are many grid patterns out there. Although they are all literally in squares and rectangles, grids never fails to give the orderly feeling and calmness from the proper and precise structure it has. For those who wants some neatness that is classical, they should definitely consider grid for their window patterns.Small Brown Window Treatment Patterns
