Japanese kitchen style is identical with its single placed stove, working table, and sink. This is called Shoinzukuri in Japanese. I have seen this once when I visit my brother’s condominium in Japan last summer. His kitchen is placed close to the dining room. Even though it is derived from a traditional kitchen concept, but he can make a Contemporary Japanese Kitchen for his home. I really like the simplicity point and how it can reserve some spaces in his home.
His kitchen is placed near the window of his condo and I felt comfortable for cooking. The dining room is in one area with the kitchen. We can see the view outside the building while dining. The most interesting point of his kitchen is he can also put his home office working area inside the kitchen. He placed a desktop computer with some spaces for the hardware and the documents. This way, he can preserve the area better.
The shoinzukuri or the kitchen’s countertop and the working area are often made of cultured marble, woods, or stainless-steels. He made a contemporary themed one, so he prefers the stainless steel countertop. He added decorations for his kitchen by setting one of the drawers below the countertop as an open area of bookshelf for his working need. He also loved to collect ceramics. He put his collection on a cabinet pasted on the wall of his kitchen.
He chose shades of dark colors for his home and so with his kitchen. He chose his kitchen appliances in black or silver designs. There are also other kinds of colors used for this contemporary kitchen. Japanese are identical with its traditional culture. The color of woods or bamboo accent is also suited for the contemporary kitchen. Explore many more ideas for designing your kitchen. Japanese kitchen is totally worth to try.Light Beige Kitchen
